Gonang Logistics was established in 2017 to facilitate a one-stop transport co-ordinated service. The business started by renting eight trucks and six trailers from service providers under the management of a broker and during this time managed to purchase three new trailers. On 01 December 2017, the company started doing business under the “Gonang” brand. At the beginning of July 2018, Gonang Logistics bought all eight rental trucks plus an additional one, to make a total of nine trucks. The company purchased six more trailers, with a total fleet of nine side tipper combinations. In October 2018, another two truck combinations were purchased to make the total fleet of eleven 34 ton side tipper combinations.

As the name Gonang Logistics implies "Yes We Can", the company CAN – through commitment and passion, address all the needs of the Client if it comes to transport – long or short hauling.

Gonang Logistics is in agreement with the principles of the BBBEE Act (Act No 53 of 2003) and as such ensure compliance with all regulations. Gonang Logistics is 100% B-BBEE Compliant with a level 1 status. This enabled the company to position itself as a broad-based entity which subscribes to government legislation and objectives. One of the strengths of Gonang Logistics is the utilisation of the knowledge of experts to add value to the transport industry and to give the client the best service and benefits available.
